OVERVIEW
Inclusion Counter is a collection of Object-Image macros that
automatically identify, count and measure particulate objects
in colour images. It was originally developed in response to the
requirement for a rapid, easy to use and accurate replacement
for counting and measuring chlamydial inclusion bodies by eye.
However, Inclusion Counter can also be used to quantify many other
types of particulate staining.
FEATURES
- Automatically processes up to 8000 images per session
- Much faster than manual counting
- More accurate and consistent than manual counting
- Free from operator bias/inconsistency
- Annotated images allow verification of the results
- Data can be opened in any spreadsheet application
- Inclusion Counter and Object-Image are both Public Domain
